Thursday May 21, 2015 was my induction day. Woke up to figure out that I was having regular contractions about 10-12 minutes apart. They definitely felt different then all the Braxton hicks contractions I had been having for a long time. Check in time at the hospital was 6 a.m. and everything went smoothly, I was only 2-3 cm dilated. They started the medicine about 7 a.m. and my contractions definitely started picking up, for about 2 hours I could handle the contractions but then they we’re coming every 2 minutes and I couldn’t take the pain anymore so I said I’d like the epidural. The epidural came about 10 minutes later, I was only 4 cm dilated at the time. Getting the epidural was tough as I had to stay still during a contraction which was hard. Right after they gave me the epidural my water broke on it’s own. The nurse checked me about a hour later and said I had dilated to 9 cm. Which was super fast compared to my last labor. Thirty minutes later I was at 10 cm and I was ok to start pushing. I pushed for 2 hours which felt like forever and exhausting. Finally the nurse said she was going to call my doctor because I was ready. Haley kept trying to come out at an angle so the doctor had to use forceps to turn her to come out. Haley tore me quite badly but it felt great that she came out naturally instead of C-section. She was born at 3:04 p.m. 7 lbs and 4 oz.
TV – I’m not watching Hawaii five-o. One show I did get into was Last Resort it’s been awesome.
It’s been awesome having wifi on my iPad I’m able to keep up with shows I’ve missed on the tv apps. They’ve even added full episodes of Long Island medium on the TLC app.
Thanksgiving potluck this Saturday!!!

Well we did it. We survived two days of driving with a 2 year old. It wasn’t so bad. We had to watch the Disney Pixar film Cars a billion times but we endured it.
Here is a free printable for you that I created. Enjoy. – Jessica
So finally teen wolf is coming back.
If you haven’t watch this show it’s pretty good for it being a mtv show.
Another one of my faves is…Pretty Little Liars.
I’m also gonna watch Melissa & Joey on wed. nights.
That’s it. I’m only looking forward to 3 shows. ::Sigh:: I can’t wait for the fall tv season.
Yup. You read that title right. In just under 2 weeks we will be taking our first road trip with our son Caleb from Portland, Texas to 29 Palms, Cali to meet our new niece Alana. We haven’t actually wrapped our heads around how this is going to go. Caleb has never been a fan of riding in his car seat for long rides. Well be taking his portable dvd player to watch some cartoons, and hopefully a number of breaks for him to stretch his legs. So I’ll post some pictures of our trip when we get back.
We may also stop by the happiest place on earth.
I love a good movie, but I wonder why people don’t adhere to the ratings of movies anymore. They take children to movies and let them watch inappropriate content. I can only guess how many kids have seen the hunger games. I particularly liked the movie so no slamming from me but seriously kids killing kids for survival. That’s some intense stuff I can’t believe parents now and days. I think even the transformers movies had inappropriate references for children which it would have done just as well without them but you know children were allowed to watch. I ponder this as the new avengers movie is released just what is being shown to our young kids and just what exactly are we exposing them to see “super heroes”.
